A sparkler for every course?
Gourmets throughout the world consider enjoying a sparkling wine throughout the meal a refined pleasure, wonderful for sharing with one’s best friends.
Pairing your wine
Wine is the ideal complement to food, and, when enjoyed in moderation, one of life’s most appealing pleasures. We treasure its ability to heighten our happiest moments, the occasions we share with our dearest friends and family members.
The Franciacorta white wines
Four still white wines complement Berlucchi's sparkling wines: Two Terre di Franciacorta DOC Curtefranca, the Bianco Imperiale, and our Gavi DOCG La Bollina.

Ideal as an aperitif, but also with almost any dish: it will complement, not compete with, light antipasti, seafood first courses, hearty rice dishes, main courses featuring fish, light meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
Colour

Straw yellow, with light gold highlights

Mousse

A mousse of soft, creamy foam provides a long-lasting cascade of extremely fine bubbles.

Bouquet

Elegant, rich, and long lasting; notes of peach and pear, with hallmark complexity from secondary-fermentation characteristics and lengthy sur-lie ageing.

Palate Crisp, rounded, and full-bodied, with appealing fruit and crisp acidity; luscious notes of yeast and crusty bread.
The proportion in each year’s cuvée may vary slightly from year to year. On average they are: 35% chardonnay from Franciacorta, 45% chardonnay from the Trentino, 15% pinot blanc from the Alto Adige, and a small amount (5%) of pinot noir from the Oltrepò Pavese.
Cuvée assembled from carefully-selected grapes from DOC vineyards in exceptional growing areas of Franciacorta, of Trentino-Alto Adige (with a Berlucchi Press House in Lavis, near Trento), and of the Oltrepò Pavese (Berlucchi Press House in Casteggio, near Pavia).
