A sparkler for every course?
Gourmets throughout the world consider enjoying a sparkling wine throughout the meal a refined pleasure, wonderful for sharing with one’s best friends.
Pairing your wine
Wine is the ideal complement to food, and, when enjoyed in moderation, one of life’s most appealing pleasures. We treasure its ability to heighten our happiest moments, the occasions we share with our dearest friends and family members.
The Franciacorta white wines
Four still white wines complement Berlucchi's sparkling wines: Two Terre di Franciacorta DOC Curtefranca, the Bianco Imperiale, and our Gavi DOCG La Bollina.

A fine choice to accompany all courses of a meal: it will add high relief to flavours of antipasti, first courses of rice or pasta, fish, light meats such as veal or poultry, as well as aged cheeses. An outstanding choice for wine lovers who appreciate wines of great structure, outstanding bouquet and rich body.
Colour

Straw yellow, with attractive golden highlights

Mousse

Soft, creamy mouse with a leisurely cascade of extremely fine bubbles.

Bouquet

Full, intense, long-lasting, displaying subtle fruit and floral nuances over appealing scents of crusted bread, fruit preserves, and tropical fruit, then a lovely yeastiness and honied complexity.

Palate Elegant structure and impressive balance on entry with decisive ripe fruit flavours in the mouth; at the same time, it retains an appealing liveliness and youthfulness throughout.
The proportions may vary slightly each year; on average they are: 20% chardonnay from Franciacorta, 40% chardonnay from the Trentino, 10% pinot blanc from the Alto Adige, and 30% pinot noir from the Oltrepò Pavese. White grapes predominate in the cuvée.
Cuvée assembled from carefully-selected grapes from DOC vineyards in exceptional growing areas of Franciacorta, of Trentino-Alto Adige (with a Berlucchi Press House in Lavis, near Trento), and of the Oltrepò Pavese (Berlucchi Press House in Casteggio, near Pavia).
