A sparkler for every course?
Gourmets throughout the world consider enjoying a sparkling wine throughout the meal a refined pleasure, wonderful for sharing with one’s best friends.
Pairing your wine
Wine is the ideal complement to food, and, when enjoyed in moderation, one of life’s most appealing pleasures. We treasure its ability to heighten our happiest moments, the occasions we share with our dearest friends and family members.
The Franciacorta white wines
Four still white wines complement Berlucchi's sparkling wines: Two Terre di Franciacorta DOC Curtefranca, the Bianco Imperiale, and our Gavi DOCG La Bollina.
Home > Classic-method sparkling wines > Cuvée Imperiale Max Rosé

Appreciated by many women as an aperitif, Max Rosé’s richness and its velvety yet firm structure make it a wine to enjoy throughout the meal. You will enjoy it with a wide variety of shellfish or cured-meat antipasti, as well as with main courses, even full-flavoured sauces and meat dishes. It is an excellent accompaniment to desserts with a touch of crisp acidity (with strawberries or plums), with fresh-fruit cups, and with medium-aged cheeses.
Colour

Light salmon pink, which varies from year to year, according to different ripeness levels of the pinot noir grapes.

Mousse

A soft, creamy mousse provides a long-lingering perlage of extremely fine bubbles.

Bouquet

Complex, lively, and fruit-forward, with generous wild berry and ripe fruit over aromas of yeast and crusty bread. The pinot noir, also in the liqueur d’expédition, gives it warmth, full body, and good structure.

Palate Enters with a rich silkiness, becoming very full in the mouth.
The proportion of grapes in each year’s cuvée may vary slightly from year to year. On average they are: 35% pinot noir from the Oltrepò Pavese, 30% chardonnay from Franciacorta, 35% chardonnay from the Trentino.
Cuvée assembled from carefully-selected grapes from DOC vineyards in exceptional growing areas of Franciacorta, of Trentino-Alto Adige (with a Berlucchi Press House in Lavis, near Trento), and of the Oltrepò Pavese (Berlucchi Press House in Casteggio, near Pavia).
