{"id":13053,"date":"2017-11-07T08:41:50","date_gmt":"2017-11-07T07:41:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.berlucchi.it\/four-berlucchis-james-sucklings-top-100\/"},"modified":"2017-11-07T08:41:50","modified_gmt":"2017-11-07T07:41:50","slug":"four-berlucchis-james-sucklings-top-100","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.berlucchi.it\/en\/four-berlucchis-james-sucklings-top-100\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Berlucchis in James Suckling\u2019s Top 100"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>No less than 4 of Berlucchi\u2019s Franciacortas have made <strong>James Suckling\u2019s<\/strong> list of <strong>Top 100 Wines of 2017<\/strong>, as listed on <strong>jamessuckling.com&#8211;Palazzo Lana Sat\u00e8n 2008, \u201961 Franciacorta Brut, \u201961 Franciacorta Ros\u00e9, and \u201961 Franciacorta Sat\u00e8n!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The ultra-influential California wine critic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jamessuckling.com\"><strong>James Suckling<\/strong><\/a>, with the collaboration of his son<strong> Jack<\/strong>, and of <strong>Stuart Pigott<\/strong> and<strong> Nick Stock<\/strong>, traveled thousands and thousands of kilometers on four continents and in two hemispheres to taste and select, on site, the wines for their select and much sought-after <strong>club of the world\u2019s best 100 wines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Berlucchi Palazzo Lana Sat\u00e8n 2008 and Berlucchi Franciacorta \u201961 Brut were each awarded <strong>92 points<\/strong>, while Berlucchi Franciacorta \u201961 Ros\u00e9 and Berlucchi Franciacorta \u201961 each received <strong>91<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Autumn, then, continues to bring with it a striking harvest of awards and accolades for Berlucchi\u2019s Franciacortas. \u00a0In October, the <strong>Guida Oro I Vini di Veronelli 2018<\/strong> gave its coveted <strong>Super Three Stars<\/strong> to <strong>Berlucchi \u201961 Nature 2010<\/strong>, and the month before that, <strong>The Champagne &amp; Sparkling Wine World Championship of London <\/strong>acclaimed <strong>Berlucchi Franciacorta \u201961 Brut and Sat\u00e8n<\/strong> in magnum, by awarded them the <strong>Gold Medal<\/strong>. That same competition judged <strong>Berlucchi NV Sat\u00e8n \u201961<\/strong> \u201c<strong>Best of Class\u201d<\/strong> in the Best Franciacorta Magnum and Best Franciacorta NV Blanc de Blancs categories, while <strong>Berlucchi NV\u00a0Brut \u201961<\/strong> was awarded <strong>Best in Class<\/strong> in the Franciacorta NV Brut Blend
