{"id":13072,"date":"2018-06-05T08:24:29","date_gmt":"2018-06-05T06:24:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.berlucchi.it\/berlucchi-is-the-toast-at-the-bmw-golf-cup-international\/"},"modified":"2018-06-05T08:24:29","modified_gmt":"2018-06-05T06:24:29","slug":"berlucchi-is-the-toast-at-the-bmw-golf-cup-international","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.berlucchi.it\/en\/berlucchi-is-the-toast-at-the-bmw-golf-cup-international\/","title":{"rendered":"BERLUCCHI IS THE TOAST AT THE BMW GOLF CUP INTERNATIONAL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Berlucchi<\/strong>\u00a0will again this year be a <strong>technical sponsor<\/strong> of the international<strong> BMW Golf Cup<\/strong>, one of the world\u2019s most prestigious <strong>amateur golf tournaments, <\/strong>now in its <strong>32<sup>nd<\/sup> year<\/strong>. <strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As in 2017, the Franciacorta-based sparkling-wine house will offer, on each of the <strong>20 holes<\/strong> that comprise the tourney, a special <strong>\u201cNearest to the pin Award<\/strong>,<strong>\u201d personalized with the Berlucchi logo, <\/strong>that goes to the player whose first stroke ends up closest to a par 3 hole.<\/p>\n<p>Now a <strong>tournament fixture<\/strong>, however, are Berlucchi\u2019s Franciacorta wines in the hospitality areas of all the clubs that host the event; players finishing the <strong>18 holes<\/strong> will have the pleasure of savouring a flute of Franciacorta.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Italian national final <\/strong>will debut in <strong>October<\/strong>, with the site still to be decided. The winners will be Italy\u2019s standard-bearers in a competition that will include champions from <strong>over 50 countries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This is what makes it possible for the <strong>BMW Golf Cup International<\/strong>\u00a0a <strong>Stableford formula competition <\/strong>to host over 100,000 non-professional golfers, <strong>subdivided into three categories<\/strong>, the first for men golfers with a 0-12 handicap, the second for 13-36 hcp men, and the third for women with 0-36 hcp.
