{"id":13076,"date":"2018-07-17T08:59:52","date_gmt":"2018-07-17T06:59:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.berlucchi.it\/massimo-bottura-8-convegno-del-basque-culinary-center\/"},"modified":"2018-07-17T08:59:52","modified_gmt":"2018-07-17T06:59:52","slug":"massimo-bottura-8-convegno-del-basque-culinary-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.berlucchi.it\/en\/massimo-bottura-8-convegno-del-basque-culinary-center\/","title":{"rendered":"MASSIMO BOTTURA,  VIII Annual Meeting of the Basque Culinary Center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Berlucchi<\/strong> in <strong>Modena<\/strong>, on <strong>22-24 July<\/strong>, together with <strong>Massimo Bottura<\/strong> and the Basque Culinary Center, for the <strong>VIII Meeting of its international council<\/strong> and the <strong>awarding<\/strong> of the <strong>2018 Basque Culinary World Prize<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Borgonato (BS) \u2013 <b>Berlucchi,<\/b> the sparkling wine producer that from its very beginnings has embodied the quintessence of Franciacorta and <b>whose transformative vision has totally changed its entire growing area<\/b>, will be the official partner at the VIII Annual Meeting of the <b>Basque Culinary Center, this coming 22-24 July, in Modena, <\/b>organized and hosted this time by <b>Massimo Bottura<\/b> at his Osteria Francescana, at the Collegio San Carlo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For this annual meeting of the BCC, <\/strong><strong>chef members of the international council will be joined by world-class artists, writers, film-makers and scientists, under the title \u201cTransforming Society through Gastronomy.\u201d They will discuss themes that include the power of ideas, the constructive strength of culture, the impact of science, and the influence of art<\/strong><strong> on gastronomy and how this has become an international social movement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe relationship that bonds us with <b>Chef Bottura<\/b> goes far beyond just our professional respect for him,\u201d stated <b>Cristina Ziliani<\/b>, who directs communications and external relations for the family-held winery. \u201c<b>Massimo is a dear friend<\/b>, and we cannot but share his great pride in the tremendous personal and professional achievement represented by his <b>Osteria Francescana\u2019s<\/b> placing, for the second time, on the topmost rung of the international rankings of <b>The World\u2019s 50 Best Restaurants<\/b>. <b>His talent, his humility, his commitment to meritorious projects such as <i>Food for Soul,<\/i> and above all his utterly distinctive personality<\/b>, have truly kindled a beacon for our society. Since we share with Massimo a strongly-held, transformative vision of the power of the eno-gastronomic culture, we are intensely pleased that <b>Berlucchi<\/b> was selected as the partner for this momentous event.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The meeting will end with the announcement of the winner of the Basque Culinary World Prize<\/strong><strong>, an award created by the Basque Government and
