An important recognition for Berlucchi: the Riserva Franco Ziliani 2011 has been included in James Suckling’s Top 100 Wines of Italy 2026, scoring 97 points and ranking 45th among the 100 Italian wines selected by the editorial team.
The selection, made from approximately 7,000 Italian wines tasted over the past year, marks a particularly significant milestone for Berlucchi: this is the first time a Berlucchi Franciacorta has entered James Suckling’s Italian Top 100.
Produced exclusively in the most outstanding vintages and aged for an extended period, the Riserva Franco Ziliani 2011 expresses complexity, depth and elegance through time. It bears the name of Franco Ziliani, founder of Berlucchi and, together with Guido Berlucchi, the creator of the first Franciacorta in 1961.
