Chicago, New York, and Boston were the fortunate cities that hosted Identità Golose on its October USA tour, savouring Berlucchi’s signature Franciacortas along with workshops, aperitifs, and magnificent dinners created by standout Italian and American chefs.

The first stop of this culinary organization, whose mission is to highlight the best of contemporary Italian cuisine, was on 7-8 October at Eataly Chicago. The theme of “Pasta and Pizza” launched a lively competition among chefs Corrado Scaglione, Davide Oldani, Fernando Darin, Jonathan Benno, Luciano Monosillo, Sarah Gruenberg, Saverio and Vittorio Borgia, and Sarah Minnick—the creations accompanied by Berlucchi ’61 Brut and ’61 Rosé.

Eataly’s flagship location in New Yok City’s iconic Flatiron  Building provided an extraordinary venue for the eighth annual edition of Identità Golose in the big Apple, and the theme here was “Don’t waste the planet: the truth is in the dish.” Famed culinary maestros Ana Roš, Enrico Cerea, and Virgilio Martinez were the stars on the first three days, 10-12 October, with Berlucchi ’61 Brut always near at hand, served in all the seminars and during all the addresses.

’61 Brut and ‘61 Rosé were featured again at Dine Around, the movable feast for 300 guests guided by Corrado Scaglione, Massimo Bottura, Virgilio Martinez, Caterina Ceraudo, Ana Roš, and Enrico Cerea.

’61 Satèn was the toast on Columbus Day, at the aperitif moment created by Eric Ripert and Massimno Bottura, the latter the star as well, along with Mario Batali and fellow international stars, of a benefit dinner for the Food for Soul Association.

Third and last stop, on 13 October, of the American tour was Boston, again at Eataly, where the subject was “Great Italy at the Table” showcasing the famed talents of Michele Carter, Caterina Ceraudo, Michael Schlow, and Chris Fischer. ’61 Brut and ’61 Rosé starred alongside them, accompanying, respectively, the aperitif and the filled-pasta first course.
