LANDSCAPE FESTIVAL 2022: WE ARE THE OFFICIAL SPARKLING WINE

September 8, 2022

The Landscape Festival will be held from 8 to 25 September, and we are delighted to take part in this major international event dedicated to landscape culture with a rich programme of toasts and events.

Prominent landscape architects, architects and green designers will meet in the city of Bergamo to present their philosophy through installations, talks and testimonials: an event that’s unique in Italy and groundbreaking in Europe in terms of its vision, content and experiential format.

Design, Architecture and Nature are all incontrovertible parts of Italy’s DNA, as well as being the pillars on which our company has reshaped the visual identity of one of our most iconic lines: Berlucchi ’61, Numero Primo – whose name also recalls the year the first bottle of Franciacorta was created, right here, in 1961.

We will be the Official Sparkling Wine at the Landscape Festival and our Franciacorta wines will provide the official toast at all its main events, including the “green dinner” to be held on 23 September.

At the end of the Festival, the event’s main players will be invited to a closing dinner in historic Palazzo Lana, one of Franciacorta’s architectural gems.

I am very happy to be among the supporters of this splendid Festival this year,” says Cristina Ziliani, Owner and Head of Corporate Relations, before continuing: “Its objectives of promoting and safeguarding the territory perfectly match our corporate values, centred on sustainability in all its forms and the care and conservation of the land, in which the winery is a benchmark within Italy. This has been a constant, daily practice for over 15 years. Our winery, nestled in the morainic hills below Lake Iseo, is exactly halfway between Bergamo and Brescia. This makes it a point of liaison between these two cities that together will be the Italian Capital of Culture in 2023, and its active role in promoting local culture has already begun.”

To mark the Festival and this collaboration, we have come up with a dedicated tour: the Landscape Festival Tour. Available on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September, the package represents a unique opportunity to visit the splendid seventeenth-century cellars and immerse yourself in nature among the vines of the Castello di Borgonato vineyard, whose grapes produced the first Franciacorta, while enjoying a tasting of the winery’s famous Franciacorta wines with a panoramic view of the territory, epitomising the spirit of the Landscape Festival.

We look forward to greeting you to toast our magnificent land together!
