MASSIMO BOTTURA

Chef Bottura comes to Franciacorta for Berlucchi

May 27, 2016

MASSIMO BOTTURA AT PALAZZO LANA BERLUCCHI.

The dinner on 1 July in Palazzo Lana Berlucchi will be a stunningly unique occasion that fine food and wine lovers simply cannot miss. To be precise, Chef Massimo Bottura will be in Franciacorta, in conjunction with The Floating Piers land-art installation created by celebrated artist Christo. Bottura will unleash his fabled creativity and artistic mastery in an exclusive dinner that will be partnered with the finest Berlucchi Franciacortas, and thus an encounter between two of Italy’s most-celebrated enogastronomic treasures.

Massimo Bottura, one of the greatest maestros of international cuisine, was awarded Michelin’s Three Stars and the 2014 White Guide Global Gastronomy Award, international cuisine’s Nobel prize; in addition, in 2015, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards recognised him as second-ranked chef in the world. These heady tributes go to the chef of the Osteria Francescana in Modena, where Bottura takes the best of traditional Italian culinary repertoire and crafts it into a deeply-thought out, contemporary cuisine that contributes to defining the future of fine cuisine.

Palazzo Lana Berlucchi, the historical noble residence and site of the initial meeting between Franco Ziliani and Guido Berlucchi, will be the spectacular venue for Bottura’s creations, in one of the most prestigious programmes among Franciacorta’s summer celebrations. Fortunate guests will savour an exclusive and exciting sensory adventure, a creative duet between Massimo Bottura, one of Italy’s greatest culinary artists, and Berlucchi’s finest Millesimato, Riserva, and other Franciacortas.
